These hand felted lightshades are made with 100% Karakul wool with a sculptural, organic form.
The wool is not bleached and contains natural organic material, such as tiny seeds, which add to the texture of the felt.
The felt has subtle marbled texture that is more evident when the lampshade is lit.
I Felt Like It are a design studio in South Africa and hand- produce these beautiful cocoon lightshades.
Because they are hand-made, no two are exactly the same, nor are they perfectly symmetrical.
These lampshades are perfect for use with low energy compact fluorescent bulbs as they add a warmth to the light. These bulbs are also recommended as they emit less heat
