The hardwood for this bowl was sustainably harvested from the South African Knysna forest via the controlled timber auctions held every year.

Khumbulani Craft works with rural crafters in South Africa, paying a fair price for their products and providing access for the crafters to an international market.

The crafters are also assisted in gaining entrepreneurial skills.

All products are as environmentally sustainable as possible.
