Ostrich Egg Light Bowl

A natural ostrich egg shell sculpted by artisans to form a stunning bowl shaped tea light holder. With the addition of a tea light candle these give off a lovely warm glow.

Designed in collaboration with artist Julia Leakey and South African craft organisation Khumbulani Crafts. Every year there is a limited amount available due to the short ostrich egg laying season. The tea light holders are made by hand.

Product Details

Khumbulani Craft works with rural crafters in South Africa, paying a fair price for their products and providing access for the crafters to an international market.

The crafters are also assisted in gaining entrepreneurial skills.

All products are as environmentally sustainable as possible.
