Mud Studios are the creation of Werner and Phillipa Du Toit in the Eastern Free State of South Africa.

Their quirky hand-made ceramics have received increasing attention from an international market.

Mud Studios operates from the Du Toit's beautiful farm and employs many of the rural community where there is little employment opportunity.

As they grow, Mud Studios have retained their hand-made process and resisted mass-production. The result is that more and more local people gain employment opportunity.
