Fabricnation was established in 2007 in Cape Town by artists Jane Soloman and Jann Cheifitz.

Fabricnation is inspired by the African textile tradition, with a contemporary interpretation.

Fabricnation supports South African made products, and sources its fabrics locally wherever possible. All printing is done locally.

Jane also works as a product developer and skills trainer with urban and rural crafters.
